When using a buffer make sure your polish and waxes are compatible. Chemical bases differ, and some chemicals will react adversely when mixed. If you are using towels, make sure you have plenty of them. The more the merrier. Joe’s technicians at the shop just finished work on this 2013 ZL1 Camaro. When it came off the dyno, it showed that it made 775 horse! It just went through an E85 conversion which is an ethanol fuel blend of 85% denatured ethanol fuel and 15% gasoline or other hydrocarbon. We also installed 85 pound injectors, a new air intake system, racing headers from our friends at American Racing Headers. The car is absolutely sick.

Pollen is something you want to remove as often as you can. There are many forms of pollen and all of them make your car look like a yellow submarine. In addition to the horrible look, be careful how you remove it. Although it is small, a single pollen grain can cling to the various pores of your paint. Once there, it’s the acidity of the grain that can cause damage. You can wash your car frequently to fight off the pollen and if you get behind, be careful. This is a 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible with a 289 motor. The client wanted a 1966 Mustang becasue that was the year he was born… Joe found the car. The client wanted the car as a second car, to drive around his summer community on the Jersey Shore. This car is a great driving car but was in the need of some TLC. Joe is reconditioning the top, rebuilding the motor and is converting the fuel system from leaded to unleaded gas. In addition, Joe is installing a new carpet and will be repainting the car. We will restore the car to its former glory.

With the ZL1 being a race-like car out of the box already, at Joe’s Muscle Car Garage, we will take it to the next level. We will make the ZL1 feel even more comfortable allowing for the car to take corners more smoothly at higher speeds.

We got the carbon fiber from a shop in Ohio, Roger’s. Carbon Fiber can give a car up to 60% drop in weight allowing the car to pick up added speed. From the ZL1′s new middle grill, to the new side panels, and even the rear diffuser, we here at Joe’s have upgraded the vehicle tremendously. The ZL1 not only runs better now that we have got a hold of it, but the new sound system we have installed will make for an even more incredible driving experience. With its’ custom made system, rear sub woofer, and JL Audio amplifier, music has never sounded so intense.

Another company that has helped us here at Joe’s add to the ZL1′s performance is American Racing Headers out of Amityville, New York. At ARH, they have put in headers into the car which will allow the car to make 685 horespower. The guys not only use 100% American parts, but are a great bunch of guys to work with. Our Opening day celebration was Sunday, December 9th and we had a blast. Too bad the weather didn’t cooperate but that didn’t really matter too much. We had a great turnout and we enjoyed great food, fantastic live music and most of all some unbelievable cars. People commented on what a very cool place this is. Spotless, professional but a great place to hang with friends and fellow car fanatics. “Nothing else like it around, just a great place”. We enjoyed checking out some great cars, great entertainment and lots of fun with great people.
